Seeking a very diverse cast of all gender expressions and identities, racial and

ethnic identities, sizes, and abilities. Casting open to 18+*

*Possible exceptions, for ensemble roles only, made to 17-year-olds with written parental consent

AUDITION DATES/LOCATIONS

  • Auditions: Saturday, October 8 from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm

  • Callbacks*: Sunday, October 9

    • *Callbacks will be by invitation only. If you are not called back, it does not mean you are not being considered for the show. A short movement combination will be taught at callbacks, and actors will receive scenes or monologues to prepare.​

  • Location: Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall,

       511 W. King Street, Carson City

REHEARSALS

  • Rehearsals: October 17, 2022 – Jan 26, 2023

  • Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 pm - 9:30 pm, Saturdays from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm (occasional Wednesday rehearsals may also be called)

  • Rehearsals will be held in Carson City at the Brewery Arts Center

  • All casts members may not be called for all rehearsals and you may be scheduled for only a portion of some rehearsals. Tech week (January 22-26), and shows are MANDATORY for all cast members.

PREPARE

  • Please prepare 60-90 seconds of a song. This can be from inside or outside the world of musical theatre. Contemporary musical theatre songs are acceptable, as are well-chosen selections from rock, pop, punk, or similar genres.

  • Please bring pre-recorded accompaniment without lyrics (Karaoke style track).

  • Accompaniment will NOT be provided, however, we will have a speaker to connect your phone, tablet, or music player too. You can also bring a link to your track and provide that upon signing in.

  • No a cappella singing will be permitted.​

  • Bring your photo/resume

  • January 27, 28, 29 and February 3, 4, 5 

  • Possible extension to Feb. 10, 11

  • 7:30 Friday and Saturday Evenings, 2:00 Sunday Matinees
